Return & Replacement Policy

At King Aquarium, customer satisfaction and the well-being of our aquatic livestock are our top priorities. Please read our Return & Replacement Policy carefully before placing an order.


1. Live Fish Policy

Due to the delicate nature of live fish and aquatic livestock, we do not accept returns once the order has been delivered.

However, in certain eligible situations, we may offer a replacement or store credit based on our review process.


2. Replacement Eligibility

Customers may be eligible for a replacement if:

  • The fish arrives dead on arrival (DOA).
  • The wrong fish is delivered.
  • The product received is significantly different from the order placed.

To qualify, customers must follow the reporting procedure outlined below.


3. Reporting a DOA (Dead on Arrival)

In the unlikely event that a fish arrives dead:

Customers must:

✅ Record an unboxing video from the moment the package is opened.

✅ Take clear photos of the fish inside the original unopened bag.

✅ Contact us within 2 hours of delivery.

Required Information:

  • Order Number
  • Photos/Videos
  • Customer Name
  • Contact Number

Claims submitted after the reporting period may not be eligible for replacement.


4. Aquarium Products Return Policy

For non-living aquarium products:

Returns or replacements may be accepted if:

  • The product is damaged during transit.
  • The wrong product was delivered.
  • The item has a manufacturing defect.

Requests must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.


5. Non-Eligible Cases

Replacement or refund requests will not be accepted for:

  • Improper acclimatization
  • Poor water quality
  • Incompatible tank conditions
  • Aggressive tank mates
  • Customer negligence
  • Delayed reporting
  • Minor variations in fish color, size, or markings

These are natural characteristics and not considered defects.


6. Refund Policy

Approved claims may be resolved through:

  • Product Replacement
  • Store Credit
  • Partial Refund (where applicable)

Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.


7. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.

Once an order has been packed or shipped, cancellation requests may not be accepted.

Refunds for approved cancellations will be processed according to our refund guidelines.


8. King Aquarium's Right to Review

All claims are subject to verification.

King Aquarium reserves the right to:

  • Approve or reject claims based on provided evidence.
  • Request additional information.
  • Modify replacement procedures when necessary.

Our decision regarding replacement eligibility will be final.
